What you want to focus on is getting movement speed, casting speed, and elemental damages. I suggest a staff, but really the exact type of gear is irrelevant. This build is not gear-dependant so I won’t go into detail on which pieces will help. When you increase your mastery, it will reward you with some intelligence, dexterity, health, and mana, so there’s no need for more unless you’re really getting tossed around. There is no need to put anything into health or mana. Defense ability enhances your ability to dodge enemy strikes and avoid critical hits from enemies. ![]() The offense ability increases your chance to hit and your chance to land a critical hit. Why dexterity when this build is mage-based? Dexterity raises your offensive and defensive abilities. When distributing your stat points on your character screen, you’ll chiefly focus on intelligence with 1 point in dexterity at every other level. ![]() I also have a feature that I call Quick Bite, where I give you the bare-bones skill point allocation for the build. The main mastery is the Earth mastery because although you can slow down and freeze enemies by specializing in the Storm mastery, however, Earth has more passives and some powerful AOE spells that are more fun to play with. It consists of the Earth and the Storm masteries, so there will be lots of fire, freezing, and electricity bouncing around the screen. Isn’t that what we play games for?įor my first build, I’ve created a build for those that love to toss magic around and watch the chaos ensue: the Elementalist. Although this is efficient, I’d rather enjoy the game and leveling. ![]() The way I approach my builds is to have fun while I level and there have been too many builds that are more focused on leveling you quickly. In my next few posts, I’ll be covering three beginner builds for Titan Quest: Anniversary Edition: Elementalist (Mage), Conqueror (Sword and Board), and Brigand (Ranged) up to level 20.
